General Features

• Totally stand alone tool that depends on nothing outside of itself. Nothing else to install. The tool is not dependant on any game and their patches will not affect it. It is simply a "Screen Reader". It reads colors (that you setup) and sends the keys (that you set up) accordingly at the time you specify and tries to do it all in an intelligent way.

• Extremely versatile. No color settings or locations are hard written into the program. You can tweak every detail of where to check, what to check for and specify the reactions. It is extremely detailed and customizable. There are over 1,000 saved settings per user profile.

• Works with any user interface or any custom "UI's" as you set every location and color yourself with a simple click.

New Features in the 5.0 Version

• Mini Macros!:  Mini Macros are an embedded scripting language. All command and target boxes that would normally take a key press like 1 can also use a Mini Macro. These are really powerful and allow you to write your own function for every action. You can send multiple key presses, random pauses, hold down keys, type commands, repeat keys several times, shift click the mouse, for each action...  Mini macros can be sent to your game window and across the Pearl Link connection directly from the Control Assistant. So you can bind one key to a Mini Macro and have your whole group click the screen, back up, wait a random time, take a quest ect...  Change from dual wield to a shield. Load a different spell set... Even keys stringed together like: "hutk2". Only your imagination limits you.
• A Mini Macro Builder:  is integrated into the tool now. This window allows you to construct your own Mini Macro to do what ever you want and simplifies creating complex macros. When complete you just click copy and paste it into your action box.
• On Battle Start and Stop:  The battle window has been revamped and at the bottom of the window there is now on Battle Start and on Battle Stop commands. These commands can contain a Mini Macro and are sent at the beginning and ending of battle. We have found them greatly helpful. For instance you can have a bow class take a few steps back at the start of battle. Then at the end of the fight target, follow you and loot. When Boxin several characters add a random pause on Battle Start so they all start combat at different times.
• Color Check Variance Controls: These new control's located in tool settings adjusts the color sensitivity and search area of all color checks in the tool. If heals are being triggered to often due to slight variances in the health bar color or location you can increase these to fix it.  
• Context Sensitive Tips: All controls now have tool tips that explain what they do and what you should enter into them.
• Auto Start Pearl Link: You can now auto start Pearl Link. When enabled the Boxin Assistant will try and automatically  link to the Control Assistant. So just open the Control Assistant first and then the Boxin Assistants and they will auto link to each other. Just open them and start hunting.
• Emergency Mode: Emergency Mode allows you to perform special actions when your power or health drops to a certain level. You set a priority threshold and only items with a priority higher than this threshold will be cast while Emergency Mode is active.  Example use:  You have a necro that can heal you with a life transfer, but also damages them self in the process. Set that heal priority at 75. Calibrate this on their health bar at 50% and set the Emergency Mode priority to 80.  Now they would heal you until their health dropped below 50% and then stop. You can then add a potion or item that will heal them at a priority of 81.  When their health drops to 50% they would continue to use the potion as it has a higher priority than the Emergency Mode threshold, but the heal would not be cast.  Only things above 80 priority will be used. When their health returns Emergency Mode is turned off and things return to normal.

• Priority / Queue System: All actions in The Boxin Assistant have a "priority" attached to them. This allows the tool to make intelligent decisions on what needs to be done next. The Boxin Assistant simulates multi-tasking by constantly scanning the screen for something that needs to be done and then adding it into a queue. The queue constantly runs executing the highest priority item. The priority system runs from 1 to 100 with 100 being a top priority or emergency and 1 as least important. The tool scans all settings twice per second. If the tool is recasting buffs and you go into combat they just remain in the queue to the end of the fight and then resume casting them.

• Profile management that allows you to have an unlimited number of characters saved in the tool. Load any one of them on the fly. Change from game to game with a click. The tool automatically loads the last profile used on startup. Features to "Save As" and "Rename" profiles.

• Backup and Restore features to make a backup of your configuration settings in case something goes wrong. You can simply restore all your settings from a previous date with a click.

• Optimize Ini: After saving many profiles your ini can grow 10,000+ lines. This will clean all unneeded settings out by clicking a button.

• Small unobtrusive interface that keeps you updated on exactly what the tool is doing at that particular moment at a glance CTRL+Right click to move..

• Customizable Window Title: The window can be named anything that you like.

• A "Lag-O-Meter" to slow all actions down from 1 to 2000 ms. Great when things are a bit slow.

• A Pause (Pause Key) Command! Yes even though I love the tool there comes a time when you need to take over and freeze it a moment. Pause does just that.

• Combat and Buff Delays after a healing action. These can be used to stop the tool from casting a buff or entering combat if they have healed in the last x seconds. 

• Group member slider: Simply set this to how many people are in the group and it will only heal and buff them. Great for adding and removing group members with one click.

• NEW! Pearl Link connection: Our new Pearl Link network connection allows you to link the Boxin Assistant to a Control Assistant and control it directly. No log file needed and it is instant. 

• An update check feature to allow you to check and see if you have the latest version of the tool and download a newer one if needed.

The Mini Macro Builder helps you build custom macros to do more complex things. We sometimes forget the correct syntax and find this little tool very helpful. Mini Macros can even be strung together in chains.

 Battle Features

• NEW!   20 Battle Actions with fully customizable color checks, cast times and recast times and priority. 5 for melee with no power checks made and 15 that have to pass the power threshold to be cast. Use the color checks to only slow harder mobs or simply DD easier ones. Intelligent combat decisions on the fly!

• Assist Option built in. Just set the key and the tool will assist you before making any battle action.

• NEW!   Wait for target to be injured: This setting allows you to wait for the tank to obtain agro before joining in the fray.

• NEW!    Power threshold that will check your power level before casting a battle action. Good for healers that need to retain reserve power.

 Visual Triggers

• NEW!   20 Visual Triggers that can watch the screen and and send a key, right or left click the mouse or both along with cast and recast times. They can be used for healing your group or simply camping and clicking something. Have low power - drink a potion. See group invite - click join.

• Visual triggers to assist you in battle. Game has no log file? No problem. Start and stop combat by just watching the screen for changes to health or power bars ect..

• Visual triggers to stop combat if they are low in power, health or to wait until the mob is injured before joining combat.

Play Style Modes

• Pure Healer Mode: The tool will only check heals, buffs (and loot if checked). This is good when using a healer in a hard area when every heal counts. Simply check this and the tool will put all of it resources into healing your group.

• Pure DPS Mode: In this mode the tool will only check battle, buffs (and loot if checked). This works great when using a straight DPS class like a wizard or rogue that has no heals to cast. This makes the tool incredibly fast and responsive.

• Hybrid Mode: This is the normal mode and runs all the features of the tool. They will heal, assist you in combat, buff and loot when configured.

Heal Features

• 20 Individual, fully customizable, heal settings. You can specify every detail of them, the target, the heal to cast, how long it takes to cast, how long, how important it is (Priority) before we recast it. Calibrate each one at the threshold you want to heal them at. Works great with heal over times or insta heals. Works with any interface and any health bar system.

• NEW! Group Healing system completely cusomizable.  You specify all the details of it. How many people need to be hurt. Who all counts as group mate. How often do we recast it and the priority.

• 8 "Specialty" heal settings. These can be used for heals that stay on an undetermined amount of time like Wards, Reactive Heals, Heal Over Time ect. The tool can check the log file and watch for it to fall off then recast it when needed.

• Pre Targeting This little setting is mainly used for healing people outside of the group. The tool will then target them, check their health and heal them if needed. We have used it to power level a group of newbie's keeping them buffed and healed while outside the group.  

• NEW! Skip checks for group members being dead or missing. You specify what to check for if they are dead and the tool will skip healing them instead of wasting power or time trying to heal an invalid target. Calibrate the skip on the edge of their health bar and the tool will skip them if they leave the group.

• NEW! Heal color check settings: We reworked the heal routines to allow color checks for see or do not see. This greatly enhances the versatility with user interfaces and health bars.

• Checks for targets being full health. You can calibrate when you would like to skip healing a person because they are at full health and do not need healing. 

• NEW!   Emergency Mode priority filter that can make intelligent decisions when your health or power drop to critical levels.

The Pearl Link connection allows you to connect your Boxin Assistant directly to a Control Assistant with no log file and it is as simple as a click. You can also send Mini Macros directly to the Boxin Assistant. This allows you instantly send commands to the Boxin Assistant with a direct connection. No log file needed. Though you can still use it if needed. For instance you can use the game log file to check when to recast your shaman wards and still use the direct connection for starting / stopping combat / follow / wait here ect... Here are some examples that we use ourselves:

Example 1: You want to power level a group of newbies with a level 70 healer that is too high to join the group. You take the Control Assistant on your main computer you are playing and go to Visual Triggers, then set up heals for the group mates. Specify a key to be sent through the network that triggers a heal command on the Boxin Assistant computer.  Let's say on the Boxin Assistant level 70 healer I have a macro in hot key "2" that will heal my group mate 2. Something like:

/target <name>
/cast <heal name>

So I set up a  Control Assistant visual trigger on my group mate (2) health bar that will trigger when their health goes down.  I then set it to send key "2" over the network to the Boxin Assistant Healer who is outside the group. Now when the Control Assistant inside the group see the group mates health go down we send key "2" across the network to the Boxin Assistant Healer and they cast a heal on group mate 2.  Complete and fast  healing from outside of the group. You do not have to worry about it at all as it is completely automated and you can just concentrate on playing your class while your whole group is healed discreetly and privately through the network. Even when you go AFK for a bit and your friends keep pulling.

Example 2:  You have a shaman, wizard and cleric in your group and are having troubles with running mobs. Then you might want to have different actions for the same key. An "Emergency" key so to speak.  So you assign a Control Assistant Hot Key (Remote Box Controls) to send "9". 

• On the Shaman you can set "9" to root the mob.
• On the Wizard you set "9" to the biggest nuke or slow.
• On the Cleric you set "9" to a stun.

Now when you press the "Emergency" hot key on the Control Assistant your group will devastate the running mob in unity.

Only your imagination is the limit. Some common things we do is tell the entire group to Follow, Wait, Loot, Mount up, Evac, Assist... So many things you can do and you will always be tweaking and adding new things.  You can use the log file triggers watching the games log file and the network commands simultaneously.

Example 3: Map a key to send a Mini Macro to your game and over Pearl Link. Have your entire group take or complete a quest with a single key press from you and then follow you. Make a Mini Macro to target npc, click location, click accept, target you, follow you.  Collection quests will never be the same!

Log File Trigger Features

• 10 Log File Triggers that you can specify as needed. Watch for text in your log file like EVAC! and send the appropriate command or 3-6. There are 7 triggers with 3 actions and 3 triggers with 6 actions.

• Random Delays: on all trigger actions. This will pick a random time to wait from your (Min) (Max) settings before executing the commands.

• Target Main Assist Trigger that can be a key press, a command or a mouse click (useful in raids). When the tool see's the trigger text it can click anywhere on the screen, press a button or send a command.

• Tell Alert Trigger: When the tool finds a tell in the log file it can notify you by sending you a tell as well. 

• Follow Trigger: to follow you at your command.

• Start and Stop Combat Triggers: to help you control combat actions triggered by the log file.

• Reset Combat Timers: option to start all cast timers fresh at the beginning of each battle or to let them run their duration.

Loot Features

• NEW!    Loot Clicker: This little feature will search and click a spot on the screen at an adjustable interval or send a key press as needed. This is very handy for  looting and auto clicking those annoying loot boxes that pop up.
