Hi there UCA is working fine, countering and stuff, but it will freeze my system completely. This started happening just 2 weeks ago and it is random and requires a very hard reboot (i.e. hold power button till it shuts down and then restart PC). Thereafter, my computer would be verifying and recovering my raid volume ... I am running this without desktop composition turned on. Will you be releasing a version that works completely on Windows 7 without the little tweaks like disabling desktop composition? Appreciate your help.

Hey there. I use windows 7 x64 myself. I have never had the system freeze... ever. The only time I have saw the UCA freeze was if desktop composition was on. But, even then, the tool just becomes unresponsive while countering an event, not the entire system bricked. Sounds as if something has happened within the last 2 weeks to bring this about. You can try deleting the UCA and reinstalling it but my guess is the system itself maybe overheating

Hi there I had gone and replaced all 6 fans on my chassis with 80CFM ones. CPU fan is a hassle to change and fan is still running so I left that alone. So far so good ... Anyway to enable UCA running with my Windows 7 gadgets still running? |

Sounds like that should cure it. 8/10 times a PC locks up it is heat. At the moment desktop composition needs to be off, but only when running the UCA. If you just right click the UCA icon and set the properties there, when you launch the UCA it will turn it off, and when you close the UCA it will turn it back on. While running the UCA you would also have the game open and full screen so I don't think you can even see your background at all. And when you close the UCA and game, composition will automatically turn back on for you. This should be pretty seamless? Is it not working like that for you?
