Yes, it works...

Control Assisant on main box and boxing assisant on second box, using the built in Perl Link networking

I am using the Hotkey Settings for /follow and assist and the Visual Indicator Settings for healing only at this point.

Have to be a tad creative due to the lack of options in game, but very do-able.

Using a Tank with heal companion,  and Caster/Healer with Tank companion

Note: I use a G110 keyboard on both machines, to create what I call a "Thumper" to basically Face roll the action keys when I feel like that.

Great, glad to hear it. Ya know, LoTRO had no in game macros and had such an anti-player friendly user interface that it caused us to add the mini macro system to the Boxin and Control Assistant. What can I say, people will rise to the occasion. Most games today allow you to send several commands in an in game macro, but not there. Piles of useless abilities that you cast after a sucessful parry or reposit and on a 60 second recast. I never even placed them on my hot bar... Until we added mini macros to the Control / Boxin Assistants. Then I could press one key and have it send 1,2,3,4,5. I found this much easier.  It may turn out that the lack of features in SWTOR will greatly improve our tools again.  I look forward to challenge :)

Happy Boxing Wink

Gaddwin

I just started boxing SWTOR after years of boxing EQ2 so I know my way round the tool reasonable well.

Only spent 40 mins on it so far but its all looking good.

However I have just discovered you cant use the space bar as a hotkey on cotrol assistant to sent space bar across the perl link.

In any other situation I would happily remap the keys to something else but the space bar is hard coded to conversation rushing....(you press the space bar to get past the dialog to the next conversation point)

Am I missing something or is this not possible?

Hey there.  You can "send" space across pearl link using {SPACE} or tab as {TAB} and should be able to embed that in your mini macro.  But for using it AS a hotkey... windows does not really like you binding whitespace to a hotkey.

What you can do is bind another key like NUM0 as the hot key and have it:

  • Send  <{SPACE}:1>  to your boxin assistants.
  • Send  <{SPACE}:1>  to your game.

This should work. Wink
