Issue: My healer is healing my Deity Pet and not me. Reproduction: My boxed healer will heal me beautifully everytime, all the time. Then I summon my Deity Pet...and my healer will sometimes heal me, and sometimes heal my Pet (even though it doesn't need healing or do anything but boost my stats). Problem: The problem comes from BA issuing the F2 (or appropriate) targeting command prior to issuing the appropriate heal command. IF the healer was targeting me, and casts a heal, and then needs to cast another it sends the F2 command prior to the second heal...this of course means it switches to my pet instead of me, and casts the heal. The next heal then (if the healer is still targeting me - or the pet in this case) will result in a heal for me. Provided the healer doesn't do anything else but heal and target me, it will always switch between me and my pet. Resulting in death, frustration and the non-use of pets. Solution 1: Don't use a pet. Solution 2: ??? Stand by. |

Don't ya hate when that happens? Used to bug us. We used to create a /target <name> macro and assign that as the target key in the Boxin Assistant. But it turns out in EQ2 you can just add this line in one of your macros that are sending, like your Assist or Follow macro. (It changes back every time you log in.) /target_allow_pet_member_toggle 0 This turns off the pet toggle. For some reason it is a really hard command to find out about. Guess I will add this to our wiki |
