Anyone that is running 2 or more boxes can you please answer this for me? 

I have a monster gaming computer for PC 1 but would like to add 2 other boxes for triple boxing.  I know the other PCs do not have to be as high end as the first one so I'm wondering what specs would be good for CPU and GPU for the other 2 boxes?  I'm going to build them myself and what I don't want to do is go too low end with the CPU and graphics card. 

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Hey there. We regularly 5/6 box WoW, LoTRO, Vanguard, EQ1 and EQ2 and some others. Our side boxes average:

  • Antec 300 Gaming case - very nice for cooling.
  • AMD dual-core 4600
  • Nvidia 7950 PCI-X
  • 2 Gig of RAM
  • 7200 RPM SATA drives
  • 450+ watt power supply

Network and sound are built onboard.  www.newegg.com is great with fast shipping.

For our side screens we use Proview Max 15" displays, which is a dual screen, which we purchased refurbished from www.accurateit.com for about $85 a pair.

Hope this helps. To be honest I think any recent machine with 2 gig of ram and a PCI+X video card will box fine. Smile
