Do you have any plans to make it possible to 2 box on the same PC and use PC Game tools? I was using the control software for a long time but wanted to move to 4 toons but I can't add an additional computer right now. I had to change to another software and I don't like it as much as the PC Game software |

Hey there. Thanks for stopping by. What game are you boxing and how many accounts on the same computer? A lot of our tools will multi-box on the same computer but usually have a healer in mind in the background ect... Like the:
You could use any of these to control a second account on the same computer. But 4 boxing on the same computer and sending different keys to each window is a bit different. Also some games will accept keys to an inactive window and some will not. It is always something we are interested in but running a lot of accounts on a single pc often is laggy, troublesome, jerky and we like to see all the screens at once in case we need to take over a healer or the like. |

I'm playing EQ2' with shadow knight as main then a defiler on the same PC, and a wiz on another PC and a Inquisitor on the other PC. |

EQ2 ignores keys sent to an inactive window, at least by the normal means that we use. If we find a way to make it accept keys we could add that feature but at the moment it is not working. |

What about running a second version of EQ2 and Boxing Assistant on the same machine using VMware Player (or similar software)?? I'm going to test this tonight. However, I have done it via Remote Desktop (albiet poorly due to lag), this VMWare option would allow for separate virtual sessions on the same computer. Given a dual monitor set up, you could essentially run Control Assistant on one screen (main) and then Boxing Assistant on the second VMWare screen. This would bypass the inactive window problem all together - given that the VM session is in and of itself independant of the screne reading and input (mouse/keyboard) of the main session. In theory, you could run multiple VM sessions on the same cpu utilizing CA on one and BA on all the rest - without having to have multiple hardware PC's (provided of course your CPU could handle the load). Just a thought. Will try it out tonight and let you know.

Hey there. Yes, if you can run EQ2 in a virtual machine, then it is like a completely seperate computer. In that case you can run as many virtual machines as your computer can stand, with a Boxin Assistant in each instance, and link them all to a control assistant on the main desktop. This would work great in theory. But its not exactly trivial to run Eq2 in a virtual machine. So, if you get it working, and would care to do a little write up on how you did it, we would love to hear about it. Because the game window would be active this would also work for multi-boxing LoTRO and other games that require the game window to be active to send keys to it. |

Its possible that citrix would also work. If vmware works you could run it on a linux box.
